Jayne made her initial entrance
into the spotlight when she won Miss Ohio in 1970. Her win granted her the
opportunity to be a semifinalist for the Miss USA pageant, which was a feat its
own during this time. Mrs. Kennedy went from beauty queen to sports announcer
becoming one of the first female sports announcers for The NFL Today in 1978.
